He needs an adult-only, dog-free home where he can roam free and follow his own agenda. He isn’t interested in physical attention and in fact prefers a little distance. If you let him get settled somewhere safe he will tolerate a few pats. He needs a home where he will have freedom and time to adjust. He plays well with other cats and has even created a bond with another foster cat, Houdini. He loves to watch things going on outside, but he is just as happy indoors. He takes very good care of himself, is litter box trained, and is healthy and fully vaccinated. As long as his new owners are patient & understand that he is an independent boy he will have found a good home.
Houdini is a very shy boy, but once he gets to know you he will become a wonderful, loving friend. Houdini is looking for an owner who is willing to be extremely patient in the get-to-know-you process. In his current foster home of 6 months it took him 4 months to learn to trust his foster parents. He likes to stay safe in a bedroom or other small room, but is always happy for a visit. Houdini needs an adult-only home that will give him time to adjust. Once he does get comfortable he will love you forever, ask for pats, let you brush him, sleep with you, eat treats from your hand, and play with you! He loves other cats, is litter box trained, is very happy being an indoor cat, and is healthy and fully vaccinated. As long as his new owners are patient and loving he will have found a good home and they will have found a good friend for life, once he gets to know you.
